Solidus präsentiert Auktion 134 mit 677 attraktiven Losen. Die Auktion findet am Dienstag den 16. Juli 2024 ab 16:00 Uhr als Live-Auktion auf der Plattform Auex statt. Gebote können bereits abgegeben werden.
Die Auktion enthält zahlreiche spätrömische Solidi des späten 4. und frühen 5. Jahrhunderts sowie aus frühbyzantinischer Zeit, meist in exzellenter Erhaltung. Ferner eine umfassende Auswahl von Münzen der Antike bis in die Neuzeit sowie Münzen des Islam. Besondere Hervorhebung verdienen einige äußerst seltene provinzialrömische Münzen. Die Auktion endet mit ansprechenden Münzgruppen zu sehr moderaten Schätzpreisen. Hier einige Highlights der Auktion:

Los 1362: Arcadius (383-408 n. Chr.). Solidus. 402-403 n. Chr. Constantinopolis. Sehr selten. Stempelfrisch. Ausgezeichnetes Porträt und scharfe Reliefhöhen auf Vorder- und Rückseite. Schätzpreis: 1.100 EUR.
Los 1364: Aelia Eudoxia (400-404 n. Chr.). Solidus. 402-403 n. Chr. Constantinopolis. Äußerst selten. Minimaler feiner Kratzer auf Rs. oberhalb des Schildes, sonst stempelfrisch. Schätzpreis: 7.000 EUR.
Los 1371: Iustinus I. und Iustinianus I. (527 n. Chr.). Solidus. 527 n. Chr. Constantinopolis. Äußerst seltene Variante. Stempelglanz, minimaler Abrieb auf Reliefhöhen. Schätzpreis: 7.000 EUR.
